New England Lab was recently awarded Phase 3 of the College of William & Mary's Integrated Science Center. The new building will be four stories tall, adding 113,000 sq. ft. to the current complex. ISC3 will be the new focal point for research in applied sciences, housing a strong computational component and neuroscience presence. The ISC is designed to keep STEM active on campus, and ISC3 is one of the final touches. The building will contain major laboratories, facilities for material processing, lasers and microscopy, and share instrumentation. Office space for scientists and a 300-seat lecture hall will also be a part of the building.
New England Lab will be supplying their painted steel lab casework, birch wood veneer lab casework, table systems, overheard service carriers, shelving, fume hoods and a variety of laboratory equipment. NEL is looking forward to working with The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company on this project.
