The University of Hartford continues to “grow, improve and innovate” (UHart), and has set out to renovate both Dana Hall and United Technology Hall.
New England Lab was chosen to collaborate with architect Payette and The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company to furnish the two academic buildings that are part of the Integrated Science, Engineering, and Technology Complex.
Flexible freestanding Optima benches with epoxy tops and suspended painted steel casework, as well as Safeguard Series fume hoods will be utilized in the research laboratories. The teaching labs feature fixed steel cabinet islands equipped with clear acrylic dividers. Adjustable height tables with durable butcher block tops will be provided in the machine shop.
We are excited to be a part of the project focused on creating opportunities and “empowering students to rise in their field, gaining critical thinking skills and the ability to adapt to change” (UHart Mission).
