Steeped in fishing history, New Bedford was selected for UMass Dartmouth’s new state-of-the art marine research facility. New England Lab is proud to work with Ellenzweig and Bond Brothers on this 76,000 sq. ft. laboratory project. This unique project will connect students and state fisheries together to explore commercial fishing, coastal preservation and climate change.
To handle the corrosive properties of salt water used for experiments and research, New England Lab will supply polypropylene casework for the laboratories. Flex carts with overhead shelving, mobile tables, and wall shelving will be used in both wet and dry labs. Avion Overhead Service Carriers provide plumbing and electrical services to equipment on the various flexible furniture systems.
