The University of Massachusetts Amherst is undergoing new construction on a laboratory facility designed to support the future of science and education. The new space consists of 80,000 square feet of teaching and research labs and is focused on fostering collaboration between the students and preparing them to be the next generation of researchers.

New England Lab is proud to be part of this transformative project. In collaboration with  Suffolk Construction and Payette architects, we are part of bringing this vision to life by providing high-quality laboratory furniture and equipment in the laboratory spaces.

The facility will feature wood casework paired with sleek white epoxy countertops in order to elevate the design aesthetic. Mobile workstations with integrated plumbing, data, and electrical, will offer flexibility to the students and teachers to allow for future growth.

To ensure safety and visibility, the Novoguard fume hoods provided have clear side glass panels, along with specialized flammable and acid storage cabinets to provide safe chemical storage capabilities.

We’re honored to contribute to this project and support UMass Amherst’s commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency. In collaboration with Suffolk Construction and Payette, we look forward to completing a space where research and education will continue to thrive.
