Norfolk State University is underway with construction on a new science building. The 131,376-square-foot facility will house science and research laboratories, adaptable classrooms, and student collaboration spaces.

New England Lab is proud to work alongside S.B. Ballard Construction Company, Work Program Architects and SmithGroup. We will be providing laboratory furniture throughout all four floors of the new facility.

In support of Norfolk State University’s vision to encourage research, innovation, and collaboration we will supply adaptable workstations. This includes the Optima Bench System with upper shelving, integrated electrical, and task lighting designed to adapt to the needs of students and researchers. We will also provide the Novoguard Fume Hood Series, featuring side glass panels that enhance visibility for a classroom lab setting.

Additionally, we are supplying essential laboratory equipment such as glassware washers, specialty flammable-storage cabinets, sterilizers, and snorkel systems to ensure safe and effective experimentation.

We are honored to contribute to this significant expansion at Norfolk State University and to equip the biology, chemistry, and physics departments with laboratory furniture.
