New England Lab was recently awarded the Eastern Mennonite University Suter Science Center Renovation project. The renovations will allow EMU science programs to keep pace with ever-changing technology, research and trends in fields such as healthcare and environmental science, as well as new programs in pre-engineering and biomedical science.
Since opening in 1968, the Suter Science Center has 3,528 alumni who majored in scientific disciplines, including 890 emplyoed in the Shenandoah Valley as nurses, educators and physicians.
Renovations will happen to research, field prep, biology, microbiology, histology, procedure, phyics, engineering and chemistry labs.
New England Lab will be providing their plain sliced maple wood casework, flex core island benches, wood, steel and stainless steel tables, and hydraulic tables. RFV2 fume hoods, snorkels, shelving, fixtures and other lab equipment and accesories will also be furnished.
