New England Lab was recently awarded Delaware State University's Optical Science Center for Applied Research (OSCAR Building). The four-story 70,000 sq. ft. building will house state-of-the-art advanced optical research laboratories for DSU's prolific Optics Program. The program is currently involved with NASA in its current Mars Curiosity Rover mission.
The building will hold a suite of shared laboratories to provide the full spectrum of research in wet chemistry, nanochemistry, conventional and confocal microscopy, scanning electronic and atomic force microscopy, and a complete image analysis suite. Expanded optical labs, computational labs, clean rooms, expanded offices, open interaction spaces, meeting rooms and a 150-seat auditorium-style classroom will promote scholarly interaction with interdisciplinary research and innovation.
Working alongside The Whiting-Turner Contracting Co. and Richard+Bauer Architects, New England Lab is happy to supply our painted steel casework, fume hoods, lab equipment and fixtures.
