New England Lab (NEL) is excited to announce the opening of our new facility in Durham, NC. Located at 2175 Presidential Drive, the building includes a lab furniture showroom and an expanded warehouse to accommodate our Rapid Ship Division, NEL Direct. NEL is a lab furniture contractor established in 1990 out of Boston, MA, with a local, regional office in Morrisville serving the Carolinas for the past eleven years.

A ribbon cutting and grand opening were held on October 5, 2022, to officially welcome clients to our space and offer a hands-on experience with our products. Several of our trusted manufacturing partners also joined us for the event; Mott Manufacturing, Novus, Metro, WaterSaver, Durcon, Fundermax, Labconco, PG LifeLink, Interdyne, and TBJ.

NEL’s president Matthew Teal was happy to share the news; “we are excited about our facility in Durham and how it will help us expand our service to our clients in the Carolinas and parts of Virginia. The new showroom will be a resource for owners, architects, contractors, and developers that we work with to support their planning and projects. The rapid ship program will serve a need we see in the expanding lab market in the Triangle”. NEL serves clients in the life science industry as well as many colleges and universities.
