Students and research staff are now fully utilizing the new Education and Research Building, a signature facility for the Eastern Virginia Medical School campus in downtown Norfolk, VA.  The 4-story brick, glass and stone structure opened for the 2011 academic year.  It includes state-of-the-art education facilities, a new home for EVMS's modeling and simulation activities, and consolidated lab space for the Leroy T. Canoles Cancer Research Center.

New England Lab successfully completed the project in partnership with general contractor W. M. Jordan, and architects Ellenzweig and Hanbury Evans Wright Vlattas + Company. The 100,000 gsf facility includes new and renovated research laboratories, core labs, vivarium for non-human primates, clinical skills/simulation suite, lecture halls, classrooms, teaching labs and administrative offices.  This new facility has been registered for LEED Silver Certification - and all lab furniture was selected in consideration of this client objective.

Lab furniture and systems selection covered a broad range of product including Painted and Stainless Steel Casework, Lab Fume Hoods, Adaptable Lab Furniture Systems and a variety of lab furniture accessories.
