The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) is expanding its laboratory facilities with a state-of-the-art building located on the Delaware Department of Health and Social Services campus in Smyrna. This new construction project, led by Wohlsen Construction Company and designed by Bernardon, will serve as the hub for DNREC’s environmental research initiatives, strengthening its commitment to protecting Delaware’s natural resources, environment, and public health. Strategically positioned to foster collaboration, the relocation brings DNREC’s public health divisions closer together. The facility is designed to advance safety and improve laboratory analysis capabilities, providing a space for innovation and research.

New England Lab is proud to contribute to this transformative project by delivering adaptable and innovative laboratory furniture, fume hoods, and painted steel casework by Mott Manufacturing. We are also providing polypropylene casework, known for its superior corrosion resistance, to be used in this facility.
