Virginia Tech has engaged New England Lab to supply and install lab casework, adaptable furniture systems, fume hoods, work surfaces, fixtures and lab safety equipment for its expansive new laboratory space.

Virginia Tech engages New England Lab for new Signature Engineering Bldg

The Blacksburg, VA institution is renowned for its investment in instructional and research laboratories. With plans approved on it's new Signature Engineering Building, construction is scheduled for  commencment on the facility, which will contain eight classrooms, more than 40 instructional and research laboratories, and more than 150 offices for faculty, staff and graduate students. The second floor of the Signature Engineering Building will include labs for mechanical engineering, engineering education, and chemical engineering. The Signature Engineering Building's project goal will be to obtain a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) silver rating as defined by the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED Green Building Rating System for New Construction and Major Renovations.

John Sparks, College of Engineering Advisory Board Legislative Committee was recenty quoted as saying, "An investment in the construction of the Signature Engineering Building at Virginia Tech will pay economic dividends to the citizens of the Commonwealth of Virginia for decades to come."  New England Lab is honored to be the lab furniture systems partner of choice for this prominent Virginia institution.
